We commenced publication of our journals from April 2018, and all journals published by Castledown are platinum open access, meaning that there are no publication fees and all articles are immediately available for free to everyone. Every manuscript submitted to a Castledown journal must go through a rigorous double-blind international peer-review process, and only manuscripts that meet the expectations of the respective editors will be published.
All of our journals have their own independent editorial boards that ensure quality of the articles that are published, and all published issues are submitted for inclusion in recognised indexing agencies. A number of our titles are indexed in the MLA International Bibliography, ERIC, EBSCO, and Scopus (please check each individual journal page). More information about open access publishing in our journals is available from here.
Any general questions about publishing in our journals or about creating a new journal with Castledown can be directed to journals@castledown.com.
