Abstract
In this chapter, I present a particular mode of written corrective feedback designed to support multilingual students’ mastery and uptake of linguistic/grammatical forms called Dynamic Written Corrective Feedback (DWCF). Via DWCF, students write a number of short paragraphs in the target language, and the instructor codes the linguistic errors using a particular coding system. Students then edit their work to correct their errors and record their errors on a log to track progress, and the process repeats throughout the term. Research largely reveals improvements in accuracy attributable to DWCF as a pedagogical intervention and it can be adapted in several ways and to address a variety of student needs.
